- A timer that fires after a certain time interval has elapsed, sending a specified message to a target object
- A visible label ensures the purpose of the timer is understood
- Screen reader may focus on only parts of the component that are interactive, to minimize swipes, but should announce the changes dynamically in other parts as they occur (if applicable)

Focus
- Use the device’s default focus functionality.
